सभी विधानसभा सदस्‍य एनड्रॉयड मोबाइल फोन और टैबलेट पर प्रश्‍नकाल से 45 मिनट पहले ऐप को देखकर दिन भर की कार्यवाही की जानकारी ले सकते हैं। 

यह देश की एकमात्र विधानसभा है जिसने हाई-टेक ई-विधान प्रणाली अपनाई है। इससे कागज पर हर साल खर्च हो रहे आठ करोड़ रूपये की बचत होगी।

Delhi government has decided to put a ban on sale, purchase and even storage of all forms of chewable tobacco in the national capital from Monday.

The ban also includes guktha, khaini and zarda.

Enforcement teams of Delhi Police as well as the Health Department have been asked to conduct surprise inspections to ensure the ban.

Government has decided to observe National Mourning on Sunday, 29th of this month to mark respect to the Former Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew.

An official release said, the National Flag will be flown at half-mast throughout the country and there will be no official entertainment on the day.

Lee Kuan Yew, the statesman and founding father of Singapore, who transformed Singapore from a small port city into a wealthy global hub, died at the age of 91 on 23rd of this month.

Mr Lee served as the city-state’s prime minister for 31 years and continued to work in government until 2011.

Diplomat Vikas Swarup who is also author of bestseller debut novel Q & A, on which the film Slumdog Millionaire was based, has been appointed as the new official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs.

Present spokesperson, Syed Akbaruddin has been appointed as Chief Coordinator of the India-Africa Forum Summit.

The countdown began today for the launch of India’s latest navigation satellite IRNSS-1D on board PSLV-C-27 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh on 28th of this month.

The Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System, IRNSS would take the country closer to setting up its own navigation system on par with the GPS of the United States.

The 59 -and- half hour count down for PSLV-C-27 IRNSS-1D Mission has started at 05.49 hours this morning. Indian Space Research Organisation( ‪#‎ISRO‬ )said this in a post on its Facebook page. The countdown began after the Mission Readiness Review and the Launch Authorisation Board yesterday cleared it.

He asked the Delhi Jal Board to cut supply in privileged areas if needed and ensure equal distribution of water in case of any shortage. Speaking in the Delhi assembly yesterday, Mr Kejriwal said, there should be no politics over water. However, the water supply to the Prime Minister House, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Embassies and other emergency services will remain unaffected.

'Uttar Pradesh:  2 coaches of Janta Express derails in Rae Bareli. 15 killed, 150 injured. 

The accident took place at the Bachhrawan railway station. Rescue operations are under way, and the injured are being rushed to nearby hospitals.

Railway sources said that the derailment occurred when the train was approaching platform number three of the station. The cause of the derailment was not immediately known.
